CUCKSCORE FOR DEVELOPERS

A reality check.
An API request.

Use your own account allowance with a revocable API key. Stories are private, and keys are shown only once.

Create an API key ↗

Make your first request

Create a key in your studio, then send an HTTPS request. Keep the key on your server; never embed it in a public website or mobile bundle.

curl https://api.cuckscore.com/api/v1/analyze/ \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: YOUR_UNIQUE_REQUEST_ID" \
  -d '{"input_text":"Your story, 20–10,000 characters.","roast_style":"balanced"}'

Request and response

Send input_text and an optional roast_style: gentle, balanced, or savage. A successful synchronous request returns HTTP 201 with an analysis ID, status, and result. Poll GET /api/v1/analyses/{id}/ with the same Bearer key after HTTP 202; reads do not consume the daily analysis-request allowance. Repeating an Idempotency-Key returns the existing analysis and does not repeat the provider call or debit. Add Prefer: respond-async to receive HTTP 202; retrieve the saved result in your account.

Limits and errors

  • 400 — The input did not pass validation.
  • 401 — The key is invalid or revoked.
  • 402 — The account's analysis allowance is exhausted.
  • 409 — A matching request is in progress.
  • 429 — A key or request rate limit is reached.
  • 503 — The provider or processing queue is unavailable; a failed saved analysis restores its reserved allowance.

Each key has a configurable daily request cap of 1–100 requests, in addition to account limits. Failed or repeated HTTP requests still count toward the key's daily request cap. Only the analysis allowance is restored on provider failure.
