Cookies and storage

Essential storage

Local browser storage keeps your authentication token and Cookie preferences. Session storage can hold a pending guest report claim, a gift redemption key, and a referral code. These support sign-in, private recovery, and the features you request. Logging out removes the sign-in token; closing a browser session clears session storage according to your browser settings. Never share an authentication or redemption token.

Optional analytics

Analytics is disabled until you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, first-party event records and configured PostHog analytics help us understand page and feature usage. Automatic click capture and session recordings are disabled. We do not include submitted stories, screenshots, or Coach message bodies in analytics events. Public-report view counting also requires explicit analytics consent. Do Not Track disables optional capture.

Change your choice

Essential only and Allow analytics are available in the preference panel. Reopen Cookie preferences from the footer to change your choice at any time. Disabling analytics stops future optional events; it does not automatically erase events previously recorded. Contact [email protected] for a data request.

Other providers

Optional Google sign-in and Stripe checkout may use their own cookies when you open those services. Browser controls can block or clear cookies and local storage, but clearing essential storage signs you out and can remove a pending guest or gift recovery key.
